I recently purchased a loft as a first time homeowner. They had an old fashioned toilet, of course, but the loft had been empty for a while and the toilet needed some work (wax ring decay). I had recently been to Kohler and was admiring their smart toilets...but the prices were so extreme I thought that unlikely. I did some research and found the positive experiences to be nearly universal. So I decided to try one myself!They're still not exactly "cheap" by the standards of old fashioned toilets. But this has every single bell and whistle that the far more expensive Kohler had. And it looks terrific, too. Heated bidet, heated seat, self-cleaning, deodorizing, built in ambient lighting, whisper quiet flushing, ergononic seating that helps with posture, stance, and comfort. So much more, too. THIS TOILET HAS EVERYTHING! I just love it. I tell my friends that the Queen of England herself would be delighted to come and relieve her biological urges in my bathroom on my EPLO toilet.I might be making jokes. But in all seriousness, this toilet has changed my life for the better. Every other toilet I come into contact with pales in comparison. I'm not kidding. I try not to "go" when I'm away from home for a little while. Knowing that things will be better if I do it at home. Certainly more hygienic. I'm so grateful that EPLO has stepped up to offer an affordable luxury alternative to the absurdly priced legacy brands like Kohler. This is the smart choice. If I'm ever in further need of a toilet, EPLO will be my first choice. And I recommend it to everyone.

Not to mention that the instructional manual makes becoming comfortable with all the features soothing to my inept ability with technology.We recently purchased the EPLO U8 MAX, and I cannot rave enough about the features and sleek design of "MAX or MAXINE." We like it so much, we named it, just for fun.The U8 MAX has elevated our bathroom to a whole new dimension.Having this U8 MAX makes one excited to come home each evening.My wife and I travel quite a bit in Asia, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that this EPLO rivals any Smart Toilet there.As you know, now that we have an EPLO, and being that we live in a world of algorithms, other "Smart Toilet" competitor's ads have been popping up on our screen. I, out of curiosity, took a look at one, and I have to tell you that the same type of toilet, complete with all the same phenomenal features as the U8 MAX was literally Eight (8) times more in price than the U8 MAX. Again, price wise alone, you can't go wrong with EPLO.Regarding, The Very Kind and Comprehensive Customer Service Department, I have truly and honestly never experienced such a wonderful and kind support center such as EPLO's Being that we are new owners of the U8MAX, and I am obtuse with technology, I reached out with some questions regarding the features.The Customer Service Department was very quick to respond, complete with kindness, efficiency and comprehensiveness. They not only answered my questions; but they looked ahead and made sure that I fully understood how the U8 MAX functioned. This quelled any anxiety I had, and instilled the confidence to know that I would be supported as I became more comfortable and accustomed with all the features of this U8 MAX. If I may, I would like to include a quote from EPLO's Customer Service Department. After fully answering my question, complete with answers to possible forward-thinking questions that I may have had, they ended with: "I apologize in advance if this message disturbs you. Looking forward to your reply."This to me, in a world of touch-and-go, is unheard of. They were not only dealing with my technical queries; but they were also making sure that I was psychologically comforted as well. This Is Amazing!All I can say is WOW! I purchased the Eplo U8Max after lots of research. This model kept coming up as the top bidet toilet in this price range. I think it's better than some that are more expensive. We re-did our bathroom and I wanted to treat myself with a smart bidet toilet but didn't want to spend several thousand dollars. This one had all of the features I wanted at a reasonable price. I must say it is a real treat! The bidet sprayer does an excellent job, and all features work as advertised. The foam feature really works. The toilet seat is elongated and has more space than the bidet seats that attach to an existing toilet. The overall style/look fits most bath designs. The flush noise is surprisingly quite low. The seat height is very comfortable. The wall plug comes with a built-in GFCI protector. The white finish matches my white Kohler acrylic bathtub.Installation is quite easy, especially for a home DIYer. You''ll need two people to lift the toilet in place. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. All hardware is included, along with the wax seal. The two-way water valve is included, and is of high quality. The water lines and a battery backup are also included. Nothing else is needed to install, accept a nearby electric outlet. Use the included template to help with installation. The quality and finish of the whole unit is impressive. I had it up and running in about 20 minutes, and the average person should be able to do it in less than an hour.Key measurements for water lines and electrical outlet: (see attached photos)Water supply: my water line is 3.5' (9 cm) to the left of the widest part of the toilet base and 6.5'' (16.5 cm) up from the floor. I had to rotate the valve to the left a bit to make hose connections easier. I would put the water line 8'' (20.3 cm) from the floor next time, but 6.5' works just fine. Tuck the extra hose back into the rear of the toilet.Electrical outlet: it is about 1'' (2.5 cm) from the widest part of the toilet base on the right side, and 7'' (17.8 cm) up from the floor to the bottom of the electrical box.Tip: Connect the white battery backup box to the black cable with the red end in back before you plug the toilet in. Then place the box anywhere in the rear opening.One of my concerns was will it arrive safely. The toilet is very well packed. Lots of styrofoam that cradle the toilet, Delivery was flawless. Eplo did a great job with the packaging design.I am very picky and analyze everything that I buy. I'm very impressed with this purchase, so much so that I will be getting another one for a different bathroom. It was definitely money well spent. It works better than I expected. Highly recommend!
